🍎 Back to School: Celebrating Progress Across Tarrant County

Dear Friends and Partners,

As a new school year begins, there is so much to look forward to across Tarrant County. Our teachers are welcoming students back, our leaders are setting ambitious goals, and our community is coming together to ensure every student thrives.

At Rev Partnership, we are proud to convene and support our district partners, creating opportunities to share what’s working, learn from one another, and build regional solutions around our shared priorities. But before we look ahead, it’s worth pausing to celebrate what our districts accomplished last year.

The 2025–2026 accountability results released by the Texas Education Agency this month tell a powerful story: progress is happening across Tarrant County, and our districts are continuing to move the needle for students.

A few highlights that stood out:

• In the last two years, 14 of 17 Tarrant County school districts have improved their overall state accountability score, with five improving a letter grade. 

  
  

• From 2025 to 2026, 220 Tarrant County campuses improved their overall score, with 51 becoming A/B campuses. There are now 112 A/B rated campuses within Tarrant County. 

  
  

• From 2025 to 2026, the number of F-rated campuses decreased from 26 to 19, which represents only 4% of Tarrant County schools. 

  
  

These results represent much more than numbers on a report. They reflect the hard work of educators, campus leaders, students, families, and communities. They also remind us that while every district’s story is different, there is tremendous value in celebrating progress together and learning from one another along the way.

As we begin a new school year, let’s celebrate this momentum while keeping our eyes on what’s next. I look forward to working alongside our district partners and the community to build on this progress and continue creating brighter futures for every student in Tarrant County.
